Ensemble Sporck
Ensemble Sporck (též Ensemble Mathesius) je soubor interpretů zabývajících se tzv. historicky poučenou interpretací. Byl založen hudebníkem a historikem Lukášem M. Vytlačilem v roce 2010. Cílem souboru je oživovat v nevšedních dramaturgiích hudbu starších slohových období a vdechnout skladbám něco z modernosti, kterou měly v době svého vzniku. Proto je součástí práce členů souboru také badatelská činnost. Obsazení je proměnlivé podle studovaného repertoáru, který zahrnuje skladby od renesanční polyfonie po pozdní baroko. Jméno souboru odkazuje na významného mecenáše barokních Čech, hraběte Františka Antonína Sporcka. Během své existence soubor vystoupil např. pro festival Pražské jaro, Tschechisch-Deutsche Kulturtage, Ludwigsluster Schlosskonzerte, Hudební festival Znojmo, Theatrum Kuks, Haydnovy hudební slavnosti, Rosa Bohemica, Podlipanské hudební slavnosti, Festival Ludwiga van Beethovena, Českou televizi a jiné.
Ensemble Sporck (also Ensemble Mathesius) is an ensemble of performers devoted to the practice and performance of early music. The ensemble was founded in 2010 under the name Ensemble Sporck by the musician and historian Lukáš M. Vytlačil. Its aim is to reconstruct the music of earlier stylistic epochs in unique programmes, and to bring back some of the freshness and modernity it possessed at the time of its origin. Active research has therefore been an important facet of the work. The cast of performers is dependent on the programme presented, which can include compositions from Renaissance polyphony to late baroque. The name of the ensemble refers to one of the important donator of baroque Bohemia Count Franz Anton von Sporck. The ensemble performed concerts for the Prague Spring Festival, Tschechisch-Deutsche Kulturtage, Ludwigsluster Schlosskonzerte, Music Festival Znojmo, Theatrum Kuks, Haydn Music Festivities, Rosa Bohemica, Podlipanské hudební slavnosti, Ludwig van Beethoven Festival, Czech Television etc.
Lukáš M. Vytlačil (flauto traverso, recorders)
Lukáš M. Vytlačil, hudebník a historik, je uměleckým vedoucím Ensemble Sporck. Vystudoval na Konzervatoři v Teplicích hru na zobcovou a příčnou flétnu, později také dirigování u Jana Valty. Za tato studia obdržel r. 2007 Cenu Nadace Leoše Janáčka. V roce 2011 absolvoval barokní flétnu u Jany Semerádové na Univerzitě Karlově v Praze, kde roku 2017 též dokončil studium hudební vědy. Zúčastnil se mnoha interpretačních kursů u předních interpretů (Peter Holtslag, Ashley Solomon, Barthold Kuijken, Jostein Gundersen, Anneke Boeke, Petr Zejfart, Jorge Salgado Correia ad.). Pod vedením Rebeccy Stewart se také věnoval zpěvu vokální polyfonie. Spolupracuje s domácími soubory staré hudby, jako Ensemble Inégal, Musica Florea, Capella Regia Praha, či The Czech Ensemble Baroque. Kromě ČR vystupoval také v Německu, Francii, Belgiii, Portugalsku, Gran Canarii, Polsku, Litvě a Maďarsku. Jako dirigent spolupracoval např. se Severočeskou filharmonií, Orchestrem Fóra mladých, či s klavíristou Ivem Kahánkem, a v l. 2006-2008 byl sbormistrem dětského sboru Fontána. Kromě koncertů se věnuje také pedagogické činnosti. Vyučoval hru na zobcovou flétnu na Konzervatoři v Teplicích (2005-2009), připravoval také vzdělávací projekty pro Pražské jaro a Českou filharmonii a v letech 2014 až 2024 vedl třídu zobcové flétny na pražské Konzervatoři Jana Deyla. Zabývá se taktéž historií a mluveným slovem. V letech 2013 až 2022 pracoval na Akademii věd České republiky, 2022 až 2024 v Národním památkovém ústavu a v současnosti v Historickém ústavu Akademie věd ČR.
Lukáš Michael Vytlačil, musician and historian, is the artistic leader of the Ensemble Sporck. He graduated in recorder and flute at Teplice Conservatoire, where he later also completed studies in conducting with Jan Valta. In 2008-2011 he studied baroque flute with Jana Semerádová at Charles University in Prague, where also graduated the musicology in 2017. For this studies he received in 2007 the Leoš Janáček Foundation Prize. He has participated in many interpretation courses with notable performers (Peter Holtslag, Ashley Solomon, Barthold Kuijken, Jostein Gundersen, Anneke Boeke, Petr Zejfart, Jorge Salgado Correia et al.) and he followed Rebecca Stewart's classes in vocal polyphony. He has been collaborating with several Czech early music ensembles, such as Ensemble Inégal, Musica Florea, Capella Regia Praha, or The Czech Ensemble Baroque. Apart from giving concerts in the Czech Republic, he has also performed in Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal, Gran Canaria, Poland, Lithuania and Hungary. As a conductor he has collaborated with the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, with the Youth Forum Orchestra or with the pianist Ivo Kahánek, and in 2006-2008 he was choirmaster of the children's choir Fontána. Besides performing, he is also engaging in educational activities: in 2005-2009 he was teaching at Teplice Conservatoire; later he prepared educational projects for the Prague Spring Festival and for the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and between 2014-2024 he leaded a recorder class at the Jan Deyl Conservatoire in Prague. Outside music and musicology takes a keen interest in history and recitation. Worked at the Czech Academy of Sciences (2013-2022), National Heritage Institute (2022-2024) and now at the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
